The Person & the Work of the Holy Spirit (9). Two weeks ago we began to look at what Scripture teaches about the Holy Spirit empowering believers to walk in the supernatural presence & power of the Holy Spirit. Our motivation is to see the Church today walking in what Paul teaches in Ephesians 4:16 where he speaks about the Body of Christ growing to full maturity & building itself up in love. The expectation for seeing that happening today is found in what Paul says about “every part of the Body working properly [in all its functions] with power adapted to its need.” In this message we look at the three groups in the Church that Paul speaks about in 1 Corinthians 2 & 3 & the need for all believers to be in the third group if we are to know for ourselves the power of the Holy Spirit “adapted to our need” for our function in the Body of Christ.
