The Resurrection: Responses & Consequences

This week we will celebrate Passover, according to the Biblical Calendar. This “Feast of the Lord” has been celebrated by the Jewish people since God, through Moses, led His people out of their bondage & captivity in Egypt, back to their Promised Land. The blood of a perfect lamb was shed & applied the door frame of Jewish people’s homes so that the Angel of Death might “pass over” them, keeping their first-born children & animals safe. Remembering & celebrating Passover has been continuing for 3,500 years & it’s fulfilment was seen in Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God, sacrificed on the Cross so that the Angel of Death might pass over us, so we receive eternal life. This message looks at the responses & consequences of New Testament & current day disciples of Jesus.
