The Last Days: What Does That Look Like? #6 This message looks at another very clear Biblical proof for the Pre-Tribulation rapture, that is, scriptural proof that the Church is caught up to meet the Lord in the air before the the seven years of the Tribulation. A key foundational principle in Bible interpretation is that “context determines meaning” especially when one Greek word can be interpreted in more than one way when translated into English. If this principle had been followed, beginning with the King James Bible, then there would be no debate about the timing of the rapture. Instead of dispute, confusion, contention or outright ignoring this great truth, we would all be looking for “our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God & Saviour, Christ Jesus” & we would all be awake & alert to the urgency of the hour.
