The Glorious Cross of Christ (6). In Titus 3:5, Paul says that “God saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we did in righteousness, but in accordance with His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.” Sadly, the significance of the doctrine of regeneration & the renewing work of the Holy Spirit are rarely taught today. However, these truths are foundational to the true gospel & to believers outworking the finished work of the Cross in daily living. This message looks at these truths & at how God outworks regeneration & renewal as a consequence of new birth in Christ.
