In preparation for commissioning one of our men as an Elder, this message looks at what Scripture teaches about biblical leadership & biblical eldership. We look at what the ministry of an Elder looks like, as detailed in Scripture, & at what leadership looks like in the New Testament Church. We examine why it is important to follow the biblical pattern, not traditions that don’t align with God’s Word & why we shouldn’t be following the patterns or models of leadership & structure that we see in the world.
