Jesus Will Build His Church (8). This message further defines the role and the responsibility of the second of the two basic forms of leadership that we see in the New testament Church, that of Elders functioning in plurality. In understanding the role of Elders as shepherds, we look at the responsibility of Elders for the spiritual oversight of the flock and as those who are called to teach the Word of God, on one level or another.
