The Power of the Resurrection (2)

The Doctrine of the Resurrection. Scripture says in Romans 10:9 that if you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the death you will be saved. The doctrine of the resurrection, Jesus being physically raised from the dead, is a pivotal and crucial doctrine of the Orthodox Christian faith. It is also under fire. Many other religions recognise Jesus as being an important spiritual figure but they are all in denial of His physical resurrection. Therefore we must have this doctrine firmly settled in our hearts and be sure to include in the message we proclaim when witnessing and sharing the Gospel.
