Spiritual Ministry & Prophecy

In Mark:16:15, when Jesus sent out the eleven disciples, He said to them: “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” He then promises in verse 17 that attesting, confirming, authenticating signs would follow those who believe. We see in verse 20 that: “they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying (attesting, confirming, authenticating) signs.” This message encourages believers that we don’t need to wait for God to give us “gifts” from heaven. Rather, we need to understand that through new birth & the baptism in the Holy Spirit, we are those who have been endowed with the empowering of the Holy Spirit & that we have received the things of the Spirit so as to walk & serve in the power of the Holy Spirit. This messages also looks at biblical guidelines for the operation of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in prophecy.
