The Beatitudes (13). In this message, we will look at what Jesus meant when He called His followers to be “the salt of the earth.” Using the historical and spiritual significance of salt in the ancient world, this message will encourage us, as new creations in Christ, who are called to preserve truth, bring healing, and create a spiritual thirst for God in a world prone to decay. This message highlights that our influence doesn’t come from striving to be different, but from abiding in Christ—allowing His life and Spirit within us to season and transform the world around us.
