The Glorious Cross of Christ (11). Two weeks ago, we began to look at another of the divine exchanges that believers partake of through the finished work of the Cross which is that, through new birth, we receive heaven’s glories in place of what we deserve which is hell’s terrors. We looked at what Scripture reveals regarding hell & its terrors which is the inheritance of the unsaved. This message looks at what Scripture reveals regarding heaven & heaven’s glories which are the eternal rewards & the blessed inheritance of those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. We are reminded that if any human beings find themselves in hell they have no one but themselves to blame. If any find themselves in heaven, they will have no one but the Lord to praise because God has done everything necessary & everything possible to redeem mankind to Himself except to override freewill.
