Coming Wave of the Holy Spirit (27). By looking carefully at what water baptism is from Scripture and what conditions were needing to be met by the early believers, we can better understand what water baptism means for us today. This biblical understanding is vital because much that is taught today is based on man’s traditions and teachings rather than God’s Word. To have a scriptural understanding will help us to make disciples, disciple new believers and help those coming back into relationship with the Lord in the harvest of the coming wave of the Holy Spirit.
