In Matthew 7:13-14, Jesus speaks about the many who miss salvation and the few who find it. In verses 21-23 of the same chapter, He speaks about the many who will miss the marriage supper, even though they did all kinds of things, in His name. In 2 Timothy 4:1-4, Paul speaks about the prevailing attitude in the last days where people will chase after what they want to hear and will turn from sound teaching to myths. How could the Church get to such a condition?
