Our guest speaker, Andrew Mulcahy, asks & answers the question, what does God require of us in a secular world? He draws parallels for today from the account of the Church in Philadelphia in Revelation 3:7-13 where despite opposition & despite the things going on around them at the time, God set before them an open door of opportunity & service. Likewise, despite worldly opposition & what is going on in the world, God has set before the Church today an open door of opportunity to share the gospel, the message of life or death. However, we need to choose to be about our Father’s business because the enemies of the Cross are at work to close down the witness & the testimony & the message of the Church. Will we obey & will we respond to the opportunities that God presents to share the truth of the gospel?
